There are so many ladies to thank for another wonderful night at 4G’s. I want to thank all 56 women who joined us this evening. Each one of you in your special way touched someone else tonight and you may not even know it. Just your presence is a joy. Many of you worked all day, ran errands, took care of children or grandchildren, cooked, cleaned, washed and a dozen other things you have to do everyday. But, thankfully you thought it was important to come be with us.
The snow stopped her once and a stomach virus almost stopped her this time, but we were privileged to hear Beth Hall tonight. Psalm 34:4. What a great message she gave us for this verse from the Bible. “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.” This sounds so simple until you have a fear that you need to overcome. This is one of Beth’s favorite verses, one that she has depended on for years at many times. When we receive a personal story from our speakers, it always has an intense affect on us. Beth gave us an emotional testimony about some of her fears and how she used her favorite verse and her faith to overcome. She believed in the strength of prayer and answers to prayers. But she cautioned us about the timing. Like Beth, most of us want our answers immediately but are reminded….all prayers are answered “In His Time”. As you listened to Beth, did you think of a fear you had that you have overcome. Do you know how you overcame your fear? Maybe you have a special verse (or verses) that you recite to yourself to carry you through a trying time. Thank you, Beth, for sharing a part of your story with us.
If you missed our meeting, you can go to the 4G’s website and her message will be available to hear. You will also find the prayer requests and photographs of our meeting.

The only other request I have for you is to come to Gray United Methodist Church on July 22nd at 10:00 to support our mission to hand out 90 bags of food to our community.
See you next month on August 9th for “Camping”. Food will be provided by Andi Hooper and Boy Scouts so you won’t have to bring anything. Keri Hicks will be our speaker. Please bring a monetary donation for GUMC Community Fest..
Receive and be thankful for God’s blessings for you,
